The team at Roseville includes a Facility Manager, Deputy Manager (nurse), nursing staff, senior carers, carers,
home assistants, in-house physiotherapist and a visiting OT. Carers are fully qualified and possess City and
Guilds certification, while a number of our staff have undergone specialised dementia care training through
Sterling University in the Scotland, which is an internationally recognised educational institution that
specialises in the care of persons living with dementia.
In fact, Roseville incorporates a specialised dementia care unit, which has been designed and developed to be
‘dementia friendly’. The unit uses a host of initiatives that assist people suffering with dementia in their daily
lives, from colour coding and colour contrast to pictorial signage and regular cognitive therapy sessions. The
unit is designed and operated in the best way to make residents feel confident, secure and comfortable.
